When it is not the right choice

How it works
The loop is sealed: fluid heats in the collector and circulates through an exchanger surrounding the tank, transferring heat to the water without mixing with it. The benefit is that mains water never enters the collector, so scale collects in the tank only — which is exactly what the flange lets you reach and clean. That arrangement is what Double Jacket means.
